A genuine old-school Belgravia boozer with charm. Classic swirly carpets, excellent Shepherd Neame draft ales and a nice little bit of outdoors for a crafty fag or enjoying the sunshine.

The bar is full of crumbly locals, American tourists and the odd posh kid and mates. This is definitely not a wild night out, but it's hard to think of a more "local"-feeling pub in London.

This place is old school. I lived across the street as a kid, and would come here for lunch with my dad. It has come through the years well, I'd say. It's got the relaxed atmosphere you want. But it's got a good selection of Shepherd Naeme ales and attentive service.more
