Disclaimer - im not a fan of chains at all. However, I must say I was pleasantly surprised with a trip to Zizzi. The pizza base is wholemeal and spelt, it tasted completely different to anything I ever tasted before, so chewy and tasty! The pizza definitely sold this place to me.
Service was pretty fast and the server was very attentive in asking how the meal was and if we wanted anything...more
We had a really good meal here. Calamari was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our pizza special was enormous and delicious-we didn't need to order 2 entrees. King Prawn Linguine was very good. It had big prawns and fresh courgettes, and linguine was cooked al dente. Rustica Sofia pizza was OK, but the base was boring and a bit soggy, and the topping was not enough. Vanilla Panna Cotta was very good,...more
