This is one of my favorite local pubs in Shepherds bush with by far the best beer garden in London. It is huge!
With a great selection of lagers, ales, ciders and spirits, and fantastic menu you cant go wrong. A notch above typical pub grub, they have an amazing steak, sea bream, lamb and your go to fish and chips or burger. Outside in the summer they do bbq in the beer garden with a small...more
Ordered the most expensive item (cote de boeuf) times two (4 people). Waitress offered either pepper sauce or bearnaise sauce and we chose the latter. We were then told that both were "off" and we could have a choice of gravy or tarragon butter. With steak? I asked for French mustard but no French mustard so was offered English instead. It's still a nice enough place and all that (see earlier review) but frankly if they haven't got it together to walk 2 yards to the table and tell us they've...more
The Eagle was taken over about 12 -18 months ago I think and has been transformed to one of the best pubs in the area. The pub is now owned by a group and the transformation from previous to the new Eagle is spectacular.
A wonderful and renovated garden which is used for bbq's in the summer months and a nice restaurant area for the winter months along with a good bar if you just want a beer...more
