We were staying next door at the Lime Tree Hotel and ate/drank here for eight consecutive nights. Got to know the staff who are super friendly and very attentive. Cozy, warm, & enchanting atmosphere. Lots & lots of wine options. Food quite tasty; portions somewhat small. Fish quite good & not over cooked. Gluten-free options available.more
This sweet little wine bar/restaurant is near the hotel I usually stay at while in town for work, and it turned out to be the perfect place to grab a solo dinner at the bar.

Went for a spontaneous drink of wine and light food, and it was a great decision.
I ordered scallops, and it was solid. Having said that, the portion felt a bit small, and some of the accompanying vegetables tasted a bit bitter. Clearly, room for improvement but nothing major. I only tried this starter so can't speak for mains.

Came here last night for a cheeky glass of red and can't believe I don't live here! Three of us sat in the bar - the whole place was really quiet for a Saturday evening and there were a couple of individuals dining alone, which I love to see - shows a friendly and inviting place!
