This great bar on Tooley Street is perfect for large groups. I train nearby on a Saturday morning and can often be found with some of the guys and girls in here, having a rewarding drink and indulging in some of the extremely good food, all freshly prepared on the premises. Cool, crowded on the ground floor, less so on the first with a fabulous view of Tower Bridge. Waitress service in the spacious open lounge upstairs too. Trendy enough to be a bar rather than a pub, but they still sell proper beer.more

The Bridge Lounge has a massive airy upstairs room with enormous windows looking out on to Tower Bridge park and comfy sofas, and when we were there, they weren't playing music upstairs, which made it nice and relaxing.

We ate, and I made the error of ordering a quesadilla, which turned out to be very small, and not exciting. The other dishes were ok. Drinks are not especially cheap, but...more

I stumbled across this pub, while trying to find the The Pommeler's Rest which in the end I gave up looking this pub I found mixed the old with a new very Pub Cellar looking with a Retro wine bar feel, the crowd in there were mainly young. There also looked like there was a upstairs area I didn't quite reach that area, but judging by the amount of people popping up and down from that area...more

This pub used to be named 'The Elusive Camel' and so they have definitely opted for something a little more modern and sleek in the pub's revamp! The name is as it suggests - it has a real loungy feel with big sofas and a cosy but quaint atmosphere.
