About Fabrizio Restaurant - Clerkenwell

Though most are shopping for diamonds while in London’s Hatton Garden, Fabrizio’s may be brightest gem in the area. This intimate, family-run restaurant is refreshingly unpretentious, with café-style wooden chairs and tables and paintings of Mediterranean food to whet the appetite for the huge Italian flavours on offer. The genial chef/host Fabrizio is always at hand with suggestions from either the a la carte or outstanding seasonal specials menu. Regular favourites include warm chicken livers with wild mushrooms and fried polenta, homemade spaghetti with baby clams, chilli and cherry tomato sauce and seared beef tagliata with balsamic reduction and rocket. Prices rarely go over the £13 mark, making it a diamond for both gullet and pocket.

The appetizers we had were the Prawns and the chicken livers ......... damn !!! I had the Lamb in a cranberry sauce ....... with mashed potatoes ........ roll me out Johnny !!! You have to try this...more

Great little Italian restaurant. Absolutely AMAZING panna cotta, so always save room for dessert. The staff are friendly and attentive and the pasta of the day (tagliatelle with stewed pork belly) was delicious.more

I have eaten here at lunchtime a few times, and have never, ever had a duff meal. In addition to the expected Italian pasta (and I can utterly heartedly recommend the clam sauce), there are mains of (for example) lamb and veal, and there are often specials, both on and off...more
