I do really like this pub, especially the outdoor DJ who plays some great music. I think the food isn't fantastic, I wouldn't normally come here for a Sunday roast. The bloody marys are really good however. The cost of drink is quite expensive, even for Clapham. Sometimes they do a BBQ outside which is really nice, better than the food they serve. This pub is fun to go to during the day, sitting on the front patio with friends and enjoying a drink. You can people watch and talk and just relax. Then come back in the evening when it's packed. Yeah, you might have a problem getting a table, but make friends with others and see if you can just join them at their table. Big and yellow, just round the corner from the tube stop, this Clapham Classic rarely fails. If you squeeze through the crowd on front terrace to reach the bar you'll find some decent ciders and beers on tap, lots of wine and some decent bar staff behind a large bar in the middle of the room.

This is a run-of-the-mill bar a mere stones throw from Clapham North station. Crammed to the rafters with your typical Clapham demographic - 18 to 20-somethings, dolled up, fake tanned, ridiculously low-cut tops and far too much make up. And the girls are just as bad!
