I wish I could give this place a higher rating - it's sentimental to me in that it's one of the first places my now-fiance and I went to nearly 5 years ago (and eventually became our local when we moved around the corner.)

Gets crowded but generally with a lot of tourists, as there are several neighbouring hotels.

The drinks are good and moderately priced.

The food is mediocre; I haven't...more

Ordinary but pleasant. Although that seems to cover everything I'll go in to more detail anyway.

The Gloucester Arms a very normal pub. All on one level, they serve food but I didn't eat there and a they offer a standard selection of drinks - several lagers, a couple of ales, cider, wine etc.

The bar is a decent size for the area, and it has its regulars which can make it half the fun. We started going here back when you could smoke inside and there was this one older guy that...more

Medium-sized pub so you have a seat to sit in and a table to place your drink on.

Sometimes it's nice to rest your feet instead of having to stand in a crowded place (i.e. the tube, or a small pub).

This place also has some pub grub - but what I like most is the friendly staff and the easy-going atmosphere.more
