I met a friend here last night (Tuesday evening) for a quick glass of wine. There was some sort of function going on downstairs, so we nipped upstairs to the little alcove at the back. We ordered two small (175ml) glasses of the Shiraz/Cabernet and a bottle of fizzy water. (The bill was a bit steep at 19 quid, I thought).

I went for a business lunch - my tuna was overdone, but our food was ok. Nothing special tho.
I think they must have been training new staff as the waiting on girls were slow and inattentive.
Could be great and it should clean up, given its location.more
One of the better bars in Canary Wharf.
Staff are good and are happy either to provide table service or for you to go to the bar. Get's busy on Thurs & Fri but still less rammed and slightly more civilized than most places in the wharf.
Only potential downside is the numbers of BarCap senior management that always seem to crop-up here, but as long as you don't mind making sure you don't...more
