after spending ages wandering around for something to eat, this place popped up. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and had the best fish and chips I've had in London so far!more

Cod fish (£5.95) made upon order. Saw the chef batter the fish in front of us. Even after a 1/2 hour wait to eat it (had to catch the underground) it was still flakey and moist. The calamari (£4.95) was breaded nicely and tender and included a small salad. The chips (£2 or 3) got a little soggy with the travel and could have used a little more salt and malt vinegar. But definitely a step up...more

I have to agree with the other reviews: the weak point of this thread restaurant are definitely the fries. The fish was crispy but not particularly outstanding.more

First off: much better than poppies.

Great fish, fast and helpful service and great potions. You'll leave full happy and feeling like you got good value for your money.more

The GF and I were around Waterloo Station one night, feeling a bit peckish for some fish and chips. We looked a good thirty minutes for a proper pub still serving food past midnight. Alas, none were available so we settled on Fishcoteque.

Located along a busy street, the atmosphere inside was cozy and adorned with plenty of marine decor.
