Oooh this is a nice comedy venue: small enough to be very intimate, but big enough to allow a loud chuckle to reverberate through the audience. I just wish it was a little closer to central London, as it took me aaaaages to get home via the DLR!

Up The Creek is a great comedy venue where you can see some fantastic (and of course, not so fantastic) comedians at a cheap entry price. The main comedy room is split into two sections so that you have the option of risking getting spotted by the comedians or completely staying out of their way. This is a fabulous comedy club. There have been some weeks where i've seen great acts here, and then accidentally seen them at The comedy Store later that weekend. That gives you an idea of the calibre of the acts.
It's not a pretty place. Drinks in plastic glasses, sticky chairs and poky toilets, but while the comedy is on you don't care. I always have a great night.

The best money you will spend in your entire life! I found this little gem when i was in university and haven't stopped going and I don't think I ever will unless I am in another country! A weird looking, small (used to be smokey) dingy looking club but as soon as the lights come on and the compare begins it is like being transported to funny land.
