We have been at The Fox and Hounds since 2000 and we pride ourselves on remaining true to the traditional sense of the term 'gastropub' with equal attention paid to 'gastro' and 'pub'! We have a regularly changing Mediterranean menu with daily specials, an international wine list and a full range of beers, including 4 real ales on tap at any one time. Please call if you would like to book at table. We can also cater for parties of up to 30 people in the 'cottage'.

Pretty disappointed with the pub itself after the all positive reviews so far - I'd call it shabby bordering on dirty and not in a charming way - more in a neglected way.
I'd probably have left if it wasn't for the back patio which scores big points. I do give them credit for a really nice patio with lots of sun and nice landscaping, especially the climbing plants.

My favorite pub in London. The food is always interesting with a changing menu of mediterranean inspired fare that sets pub favorites alongside a number of interesting innovative and simple dishes you wont find anywhere else but have enough words in the description ticking the "delicious" box that you immediately want to eat them. Great beers on tap, an excellent wine list, a beer garden and...more
Food is tasty
Wine and beer are a plenty
Wait staff really friendly
This is my neighborhood bar and I should thank the heavens because this spot is really quaint. The space itself looks like a normal run of the mill pub with a gorgeous garden and patio seating out side in the back. There are no TV's so don't expect to watch futball here, but there's some games they have laying around so if...more
I went on a Saturday night around 5/6pm and the place was rammed. It doesn't take too long for people to move on and I noticed the table turnover was very fast.
There's space for big or little groups.
The food looked amazing! I didn't ave a savoury meal but I wished I hadn't eaten before I went out. I couldn't resist a desert though - apple crumble and home made ice cream. It was only...more
This was my first London local and it was every bit the perfect little gastro pub I had hoped and imagined before I'd even stepped into the place.
The staff were always so welcoming and friendly and the pub itself is really cute. Decorated in heavy wooden furniture and gorgeously worn leather sofas, the whole place had a great atmosphere.
The bar is fully stocked and it's a great place to...more
