I was walking down the street (the Strand) in London's theatre district. I saw homeless men sleeping in doorways -- one with his dog. Going out to eat dinner alone, I wasn't looking for a place that needed to be posh and elegant. A plain, hearty meal would do. From the outside, Garfunkel's looked like it would fit the bill.
