Having heard all the jokes about how bad British food is, I had honestly hoped that they were in fact just bad jokes and not true. I've been to many Garfunkel's and this one has got to be the worst one I've ever had the misfortune to visit.
I wanted a late breakfast/early lunch, so I ordered the full English and while service was speedy and courteous, the food was terrible.

The pie was served with a nice creamy mash, that had a little bit too much pepper on top and mixed green veg. My husband had fish and chips, the fish was a good size served in a...more

Unfortunately we were both left very disappointed. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived late that evening. We were shown to a table and ordered drinks. Service appeared to be very slow and we literally had our drinks and orders thrown...more
