Genuinely good Mexican even by California standards.

Mole tacos were perfect. Pork pibil wasn't as flavorful as some I've had, but was still quite tasty and is a dish I'd order again. Also had a burrito and the combo plate amongst the group, all of which were worth ordering. Guacamole was decent but the pork cracklings that came with it more than made up for the average guac.

Me and my girlfriend spent here some time during lunch and I have to say the restaurant is awesome and good looking. We had some tacos, nachos and their own lemonade and all of those were really tasty. I would definitely recommend you this place. Go there!more

I had seen Thomasina Miers (the owner)...more

Get ready for a wonderful evening with friends - book Wahace place in Soho. It is hot, it's is lively (you will hardly get in w/o the reservation, practically all evenings are busy there, it is Soho!!!), the food is great, fresh, colorful, real Mexican style, as were the cocktails. Don't drink wine here, it is not the best you could imagine and it comes in mustard glasses, phh! A special tip:...more

I've been to a Wahaca once a few years ago and wasn't incredibly impressed by it. Finally years later I went again and I enjoyed it much more! We had to wait to be seated on a Monday evening but it was only about 10 minutes, and we were able to get a drink at the bar while we waited. The drinks are fantastic, quite strong, and they're a good price, so even if you're not into the food, you'll...more
