My local cinema, great choice of films, friendly staffmore
Really cheap, good value cinema. The actual venue is pretty run down though, so wouldn't recommend it for a ritzy night out or hot date!more
My favourite cinema in London. Has a ramshackle charm about it, but also now sports an excellent coffee area at the front and an ok pre-cinema bar upstairs. The STUDIO 5 screen offers comfortable sofas and Meantime beers for the price of a standard Odeon ticket.more
Genesis was THE cinema of my university years- unpretentious, good value and there's a real lovable local charm about it. Forget the likes of Odeon and Vue which are an absolute rip off- Genesis is unique in both it's atmosphere and what it has to offer.
They've recently began selling up and coming Brick Lane coffee brand Nude Espresso, and there's a bar if you fancy a cheeky pre-movie...more
