The George used to be a bit of a secret tip in the days before Southwark gentrification. No longer secret, and a lot more crowded, it's still one of the nicest settings for a pint (or glass of wine). We had the best time here! The setting is historic, the welcome warm, the menu tempting and did I mention the lovely drinks on offer?
Service was great, helpful and charming, and the time passed too quick.
Come and have a wonderful time!
Bit of an old traditional style pub, good selection of beers and a decent sized function room upstairs with it's own bar are so could be good for parties. Friendly bar staff.
Also has an outside bar, really handy when it gets busy inside!more
