I'm really disappointed with Massala Hut. We went there for a team dinner (there were about 12 of us), and ordered the food in advance.

The restaurant itself was very dull and felt cheap, which would have been fine if we'd had a good meal, however it was expensive, at around £17-£22 a head for a main, rice or naan and a drink and the food quality was well below par.

A lot of vegetarian options (being an Indian restaurant), and the portions were a good size as well. Naan and rice were good.

My friend and I were in a rush in the evening, and everything arrived promptly.

Unfortunately, 12.50% service charge was awkwardly added onto the bill -- despite being "discretionary", this...more
