Restored to its former glory with the Map Room resplendent in 2011, No 1 Savile Row serves today, as it has done for more than 100 years, as the headquarters Gieves & Hawkes. The store is an emporium of sartorial craftsmanship for the discerning gentleman, including concessions for Carreducker (bespoke shoemaker), Gentlemen's Tonic (barbershop and grooming services), Bentley's (vintage luggage and luxury accessories) and E B Meyrowitz (bespoke eyewear).
Customers past and present include Winston Churchill, Admiral Lord Nelson, The Duke of Wellington, Charlie Chaplin, David Beckham, Mikhail Gorbachev, Bill Clinton, and George W Bush.

I used to like Gieves & Hawkes, but that was back in the day. The quality of their suits and shirts have gone slightly downhill. I might as well go to Aquascutum at 100 Regent Street. Personally, I'd rather go to Huntsman, Dege & Skinner, Richard James, and/or Richard Anderson which are all in Savile Row.more
Gieves & Hawkes used to be a famous bespoke tailor, but today, G & H seem more like a posh high-street brand. Indeed, they have branched out into so many different fields, that it is hard to keep track.
