The Gourmet Buffet is a simple and hearty place to stop for a quick meal before the cinema. We recently went to see the new James Bond in the Vue cinema just next door, and ended up going here for its proximity and convenience. I've never tried an all you can eat buffet, thinking the food quality must be pretty awful. This place however serves a large variety of Chinese dishes, and most were...more

Not bad, not bad at all.

Their lunch buffet of £5.50 is pretty good for an all you can eat Chinese. I am half Chinese, and I was quite impressed. But, might I add, it's not a place I would note down to go to for a good authentic Chinese meal however.

I love Chinese food and if I want a cheap fix then it has to be Gourmet Buffet. I'm not saying this is the Chinese food I've tasted but it's really not ba and is exceptional value. The lunch buffet at £5.50 is great when I'm feeling really hungry.

Wide selection...I went there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and found over 10 types of chicken along with an seemingly endless assortment of appetizers, and veggies. Sure most of the food is deep fried, but it's...more

I can't comment on the food, since we never made it to a table. The advertise on the window that children are 1/2 price, but when you get inside, they have a height guide dictating price. My 8 year old is taaaaaaall for her age and they insisted that she would be full price, which is £10.90! Uh...no. When I asked if little person would be charged as an adult or by height, I wasn't given a...more
