I visited this pub on a Sunday afternoon for the weekly jazz jam session. Apparently it's been going on for the last 30 years! The live music comes from a large room in the back. (Cover charge is £5) The first hour is a jam session by the regulars and the second half is open mic for local singers. I was actually there to see a friend perform. Lovely pub, nice music, friendly staff, and blissfully quiet (could do with a few more customers in fact! But newly reopened so finding its feet). Nice refurb, probably won't last, too much fizz, not enough ale. Pricey for beer, wine and food.
