As mentioned in previous reviews, I am a huge fan of Greenwich's independent cafés and restaurants, squeezed as they are by the Gourmet Burgers and McDonalds.

On the face of it, Green Village Restaurant should be an appealing prospect: independent, owned by the same family for about 30 years, always doing a good trade. But I was grossly disappointed...

waste of time, money and everything you can think of. I went there when I was on vacation in London a few days ago. I was looking for some good fish and chips nad i heard that place was good. well guess what, i walked in, was greeted by an old fat man who didnt even bother saying hi. The fish and chips was disgusting, the drinks were pricey and the service sucked.more

I love chance findings of amazing restaurants, and that exactly sums up my Green Village Restaurant experience.

After checking out 0º Longitude a friend and I decided to grab some food at a nearby cafe. I saw a Gourmet Burget Kitchen and was tempted, but luckily my friend noticed a Turkish diner and we opted for that instead.
