The Greencoat Boy is a traditionally styled pub. Set in the heart of Victoria it is 5 minutes walk from Westminster Abbey and 10 minutes walk from Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace. In good weather the outside area is extremely popular since it is the only pub in the immediate vicinity with facilities for outside drinking.

Nothing special. It definitely has the look of a traditional British pub, which is good. The food, though, was mediocre. Burger was passable, French fries stayed on our plate after the first sample. Sausage & mash were drenched in goopy gravy. Fosters was really the only good part of the meal!more
Well considering it's location and prices, it's not bad. Typical pub but with old looking furnishings. Probably more for the locals but I was there at around 7 pm and it was pretty empty. Maybe had 3 other tables occupied. The food was pretty good as I have the pulled pork sandwich. Nothing special. The price is a bit cheaper than something Albert one block down which had the same exact menu!more
Enjoyed a few afternoon pints with my son while watching the England-Italy rugby match and the food was pretty good, too. We shared the fish and chips and experimented with the veggie beet and goat cheese burger, and both hit the spot on a cool and rainy London afternoon.more
This is our work local. They might as well take down the sign and stick a big owl over the door.
It's really not the most glamorous or unique* of pubs, but the staff are super friendly and never seem to mind how much we amble drunkenly up to the bar. The only downsides are that they close at the ridiculously early time of 11.30. This does mean we can catch the last tube home, but who wants...more

No, in fact the food is pretty crap. They obviously don't try very hard. The platters (we had a hungry group that needed a bite to eat to tie us over) were lackluster, no plates were brought...more
