Stopped here after a morning exploring Hyde Park then a quick trip to Harrods. We were hungry and wanted authentic British fish & chips. We opened up Yelp outside of Harrods and searched. One of my favorite pub meals in London! Loved the fish and chips. Lightly battered and without the skin. A quintessential British pub. Well worth the effort to find it.

The Grenadier, tucked down the alley, is a small pub, typical of what you would expect. The best part is the fact that it's no on the High Street so unless you know it's there, you would not stumble upon it, keeping it local. With dark woods and small tables, this is a pub that time has forgotten.

The food is on par with the rest of your experience and pairs...more
