Overview

The Tamarind Collection welcomed Zaika of Kensington to its group in November 2012 as it became the fourth name in the portfolio, joining Tamarind of Mayfair, Imli Street in Soho and Tamarind of London in California. Following the acquisition, Zaika of Kensington continues to incorporate traditional, classic dishes offering refined, creative and contemporary Indian cuisine.

Zaika of Kensington’s kitchen runs under the team of head chef, Navin Prasad and Director of Cuisine, Alfred Prasad. Alfred has gained industry and public recognition for his cuisine, at 29, Alfred was the youngest Indian chef to receive a Michelin star, an honour, which put him firmly on the world’s culinary map.
