The owners of Sydenham’s Gurkha’s restaurant must know that the famed strength and resilience of the Nepalese-British soldiers owes more than a little to the great food they’re raised on. Inspired by the brave men of Nepal, Gurkha’s restaurant serves fine cuisine inspired by the Nepalese kingdom with that same focus on honesty, tradition and health its namesakes are known for. The authentic flavours of Nepal are found throughout the menu, the dishes prepared using specially sourced ingredients by a talented team led by an award winning head chef. Also on Gurkha’s menu is a range of better known Indian offerings, including biryanis and masalas, for those who like what they know.
