On the bank of the Thames at Putney Bridge, the pub has entertained and refreshed patrons for decades, with its classic steaks, burgers and fish and chips. It also takes pride in its extensive bar, with a wine-list compiled by the in-house wine expert, real ales and classic cocktails. The Half Moon has a charming, eclectic appearance, with colourful furniture, vintage books and decorations, and deep sofas.

If the steak hadn't been so good the score might have been a bit lower, as we had just missed the BBQ (so no burgers, pulled pork or brisket) just before 9pm, so only 2 other options were left (chicken or salmon) or the special (steak).

We came for a bite to eat before a gig. We checked the menu and it sounded very nice.

Presentation was good.
The decor & ambience is relaxing and welcoming.
Veg is fresh and well prepped.

I did like the look of this pub when I visited a few weeks ago and I enjoyed my pint of...more
