Hampstead is my favorite area of London and my first stop whenever I am in town. This place holds a special place in my heart because of the hearty and satisfying vegetarian Full English Breakfast, served all day. Honestly, I've never ordered anything else. Sure, the service can be a bit spotty, but they do their best and for proximity to the Heath and Keats House, it always gets my business.more
I had high expectations of these tea rooms because of its location in Hampstead which i absolutely love. After an Autumn walk over the Heath this looked like the perfect place to have a tea and scone whilst warming up. It's a nice enough place and the cakes here are delicious but i can't help but feel a little disappointed as i felt the service would be better and more friendly.

After a windy walk over the heath in Hampstead you take one look at these tea rooms and you simply have to venture in. I mean the thought of a hot cup of tea and a cake after a couple of hours walking in the woods is most tempting.

A really very nice option for a hot beverage after a winter's wander on the Heath.
I had a good cream tea here for about £4 that warmed me right up. The inside is clean, if a bit boring decor-wise. And the loos are a bit sparse in terms of necessary things like toilet paper and soap.
