A solid and totally satisfying cafe/tea room.

Has the charm required to fit into South End Green/Hampstead Heath ambience.

Fine substantial breakfasts. Fine luncheons.

They don't cut corners on ingredients -

unlike some other South End establishments

Fine coffee.

The room is a tad crowded.

Hampstead is my favorite area of London and my first stop whenever I am in town. This place holds a special place in my heart because of the hearty and satisfying vegetarian Full English Breakfast, served all day. Honestly, I've never ordered anything else. Sure, the service can be a bit spotty, but they do their best and for proximity to the Heath and Keats House, it always gets my business.more

I ordered the English Breakfast tea which came nicely presented in a pot with milk and sugar on the side. Nice china tea cup, all very quaint. It was quite busy...more

I had high expectations of these tea rooms because of its location in Hampstead which i absolutely love. After an Autumn walk over the Heath this looked like the perfect place to have a tea and scone whilst warming up. It's a nice enough place and the cakes here are delicious but i can't help but feel a little disappointed as i felt the service would be better and more friendly.
