It's a little awkward having to make sure your bag isn't knocking things over or doing the tango with the third mummy with the buggy down the other isle. Quite a small toy shop on Hampstead High Street. I went into this place with vague Christmas present ideas but was immediately intimated by lots and lots of pushchairs and other customers of a much more child rearing age than me. This is sweet little toy shop, and an ideal place to pick up a last minute pressie for a birthday party. There are cute cuddly toys, arts and craft sets, games, and of course, Playmobil. I'm rather partial to old fashion wooden toys (especially for younger children) and Happy Returns does a good line in these.
