Discover Harrow's historic past at Headstone Manor & Museum! Entry is free, and with a number of temporary exhibitions and special events throughout the year, there is always something new to see or do. We also have permanent displays about the history of local industries, and an exhibition detailing the significance of this intriguing historical site.
The four remarkable buildings which make up the Museum are all located in the beautiful grounds of Headstone Manor, records of which date back to 825AD. All the buildings are listed by English Heritage, and the site as a whole is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
The Tithe Barn and Small Barn are both fully wheel chair accessible, as is the ground floor of the Granary. There is only limited disabled access to Headstone Manor - please call the Museum in advance if you are intending to visit.
The disabled toilet is located in the Tithe Barn. We welcome visitors with enabling dogs. Disabled parking is available directly in front of the museum buildings for vehicles displaying a disabled badge.
The Manor House is currently closed for restoration and will re-open in April 2017. The museum is currently in The Granary
