Pleasantly situated in a courtyard and close to London Bridge Underground and railway station, Heeltap provides a splendid spot for relaxing after browsing the nearby Borough Market or enjoying a nice pint and dinner with colleagues and friends after work. Recently refurbished, this contemporary bar offers the same high quality char grilled dishes and classic British food that you would expect from Davy's of London, not to mention the infamous Davy's Old Wallop and a selection of fine wines available from the cellar. The food is prepared in the open kitchen and you are welcome to dine in the outdoor courtyard seating area; a superb setting on bright summer days. You will be warmly welcomed whatever the season and a private room is available for hire on request.

I was here to watch a football game so the TV screens were key. There are 3 large Samsungs that are strategically placed. The girl...more
Another Davy's wine bar but one which shares a courtyard with The George Inn. The interior is clean, bright and modern albeit a little antiseptic.
One of the reasons I come here is that it's close to London Bridge and a convenient place to meet friends. The main reason I come here is because the bar in the George Inn is far too small and the service is appalling. I don't like queues and...more
