Great burgers, good fish & chips, cold beer, attentive waitress--what's not to like? Another big plus is that the first floor had a lively & fun vibe while the upstairs dining room is quiet & pleasant.more

Friendly, lively, and comfortable. Despite being a crowded Saturday evening the bartenders made me feel welcome. The steamed mussels were good and came in larger portions than expected.more

Really great food in a non assuming pub... My husband took me here as it's around the corner from his work and I was very surprised when the food came out. It looks like an average pub. We had the fish and chips and boar and apple sausage and mash! Yummore

I had Sunday breakfast here and quite enjoyed the food. It was braised octopus on mashed potatoes. The mash actually was a weird base to have here, but it did not ruin the dish for me. The cuisine definitely has a new British vibe to it, and they are pulling ot off. The Bloody Mary was so good, I had to order another.more

This was our final dinner after a week's long stay in London. We were up for a casual meal and drinks near our flat. This met all the criteria. I must admit that the food was better than I was expecting. There was no wait on a Friday evening for a table for four. The server/bartender took care of us during our visit.
