Nothing bad, but nothing exciting. They suffer from "next to tube station" syndrom. They dont have to be good to make money. And to be fair, most of the commuters don't care if they made an effort.

A catch 22.

That said, it could be a tad more polished, snappy in service, etc.more

Not the cosiest of spots but handy to drop in for a late pint on a Saturday night. Several interesting ales on tap and non-offensively loud music so A-ok as the three stars would suggest!

It's saving grace is friendly service and a two-for-one burger...more

A good bar without pretension. The food isn't fantastic, but I didn't expect it to be. (obviously it's dave from ca's first trip across the pond)

The bar staff is friendly and attentive, and it's a good place to catch a lively match. It's just a good pub next to a tube station.more
