This is a very cute pub tucked away in a corner of a cute cobblestone walkway. Very small and cozy inside, perfect for sipping on brews n telling corny jokes.. Misseltoe hung in front of the door in festivities of the holidays.. crowded n bustly after a rush of after-office workers came in..15more

What a transformation! This used to be the local old mans bar for lunch drinks when I worked in this area many years ago. Now it's kinda cool? What happened to shoreditch. All the hip bars are now dull, and all the dull bars are hip.

The decor has changed a bit. From an old man pub, to a bit more funky. They have a really old record player in the far end of the corner which impressed...more

While on vacation in London, we checked out the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and attempted to walk all the way to Harrod's. On our way to Harrod's we stopped by The Horse & Groom. This place caught our eye with it's brick facade and also because it was the closest place we could find in the area to seek refuge from the rain.

From the outside this is a traditional English pub on the inside on a Friday or Saturday (when i went) this is whats commonly known as a bit of rave.....and a good one at that.

If you like Techno, Deep House and Electro you wont go far wrong here. Its open until late and its not got an ounce of the commercial side to it. So if you like your dancing and you don't mind getting a little down...more

Never in a million years would I expect such delicious house music to be served up in this corner of Shoreditch.

The Horse and Groom is just steps off the Great Eastern, and is home to one of the most intimate dance venues on Friday and Saturday nights.
