Overview

London's premier 70's disco venue. Infernos have two separate dance areas, playing a variety of 70s and 80s disco and modern chart dance music. Private karaoke suites are available to book. They boast London's only original 70's dance floor with runway lights as well as a chill out/VIP area, with a huge fishtank of tropical fish. Great atmosphere for fun-loving disco revivalists, with a selection of wonderful cocktails.

Not knowing much about this venue other than the fact that it was in Clapham and that I was going there to attend an Australia day party.. Ah yes, Infernos. The place everyone loves to hate and yet they go back time and time again. I was first introduced to this place by some friends who lived in Clapham Common at the time. Not going to lie; it smells and the floors are sticky. My best piece of advice? Don't arrive here sober. Second piece of advice? I can't add too much more to what has already been said/slated.

But my take

If you're in here you are either

a) hammered.

b) being dragged on a birthday guestlist (or hen night)

c) a twat

Now I'll admit I've been too many times for my own comfort but I sit squarely within the a) and b) camps. At least I'd like to think so.
