The Jam Tree is a curious hybrid of a pub: cosy, wooden-panelled, warmly-lit restaurant for thirty-plus somethings during the day or Sun-Weds evenings; on Thurs-Sat evenings, feeder pub for the twenty-somethings flocking to the clubs on western Kings Road. I found the latter experience pretty mediocre - loud music, overcrowded and a poor selection of drinks. But I'd definitely like to swing by...more
This is a fantastic little find on the Kings Road...
I didn't expect this pub to be as good as it was when i went down to meet friends one Friday evening. Inside is a lovely space which does tend to get busy later on, but with a good size bar this can be forgiven. They also offer djs on a Friday and Saturday until 2am and it is free to get in.
The big redeeming feature for this place however...more
Patio seating was cool, the calimari delicious as well as the scallops!!more
