The legendary Ivy needs no introduction. Beloved of stage and screen luminaries as well as lesser mortals, its 90-year-old position in the London dining circuit is unassailable.
The eclectic menu nods to intercontinental cuisine, while the genteel dining room scatters guests across the buzzy main floor and into private booths. Centrally located in Covent Garden, this restaurant is perfect for a pre-theatre meal.

Very classy very pricey very small portions and every thing is listed as a side dish!
When you order meat for 23 pounds , literally only the meat slice comes on a white plate. Nothing next to it. Not even sauce. Greens, potatoes, everything every thing is priced seperately.

The Ivy was absolutely stunning. The outdoor seating area was beautiful, and their Christmas tree was gorgeous. The service was excellent, and our server was a hilarious and fabulous man from Thailand. The food was unique and delicious. The duck salad was stunning. Apparently, the Peach Bellini was delicious. I highly suggest trying this restaurant if you find yourself at Covent Garden.more

Super classy restaurant, very European, beautiful decor, superb food & drinks, implacable service (thank you, Darren!), vegan & vegetarian friendly.
Husband and I made reservations for late night dinner at the bar. And what a bar it is!
Located in the middle of the restaurant, allowing you to enjoy both a very intimate dinner sitting next to each other and a wonderful view of the restaurant....more
We came here right when The Ivy opened so we could catch our early flight. The place just opened at 8 am on a Saturday morning and we were the only customers there the whole time. The interior was beautiful and I can imagine this is the place to be for weekend brunch if we only get here at 11am! The location, food and decor are definitely to be sought after.
We ordered the crumpet with a...more
