The Junction
Overview
A few seconds from the Highbury and Islington rail and tube stops, The Junction is a favourite bar-restaurant of North London locals, blending convenience with quality. A warm welcome awaits every guest to The Junction, the staff keenly creating a comfortable atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home whether popping in for a cheeky lunchtime pint, spending hours chilling out with friends or treating yourself to a spot of dinner and cocktails. The Junction’s interior is unpretentious and clean, with sturdy wooden furniture and earthy colour-scheme and a selection of seating from laid back settees to more formal chairs and tables. At the bar you’ll be faced with a quandary – do you indulge in one of The Junction’s classic cocktails, sample the worldwide beers or choose from the range of affordable wines. Equally extensive is the food menu, which includes a host of stone baked pizzas, delicious burgers and lighter salads, sharing platters, nibbles and wraps.

A spacious bar located moments from Highbury and Islington station. The space is huge, with indoor and outdoor seating. They also serve fantastic and huge pizzas and nachos, and happily the kitchen is open until late. Given that Junction is so huge, I've never struggled to find a seat in here and is a welcomed calm respite from the always rammed Hen and Chickens opposite.
