The recent visit to Juno was for an event that happens every Sunday evening called Got Soul. The upstairs has your usual chairs and tables and sofas, plus they have a TV screen hanging from the ceiling, when we came in people were watching the footy... I would not really enjoy stretching my neck upwards to watch TV, not feeling that.

It was my friend Cole O.'s last night in town so after some wine and sangria we decided to head out in Shoreditch. No one was interested in waiting in a queue, so our pitstops were few and far between on a Saturday night.
Then we passed by Juno, a small hole in the wall on the High Street. What caught our attention was Biggie playing. Our interests were peaked - investigation ensued.
And it's not very fun.
So if you're looking for a bad time in somewhere stinky then this is the place!
For some reason however, it's always ridiculously busy here- especially at the weekends when they show football matches. At night it's impossible to get any where near the bar which means you are stuck standing with an empty glass. This makes any girl under 40 become a 'target'...more
This place is a bit weird. Yes, it's on Shoreditch High Street, but it really doesn't feel like Shoreditch at all. I've only been here twice, both times on dates, and it's been fine, but that's just about it.
The chairs are those awkward no-back numbers which don't allow you to be comfortable, and the crowd is very generic.

I visited Juno for a Street Wars event, where they white wash one of the walls and invite graffiti artists to battle one another. The walls are covered with street art by various different artists, so there's always something new to look at.
