Kings Head
Overview
The Kings Head is an exceptional example of a classic London Gin Palace. Rebuilt in 1896, it actually dates back to the 1700's, where it served as a coach house for those travelling south from London. It has retained its public and saloon bar and still has the charm of etched glass and dark wooden panelling.

We went here as my friend who lives in the area, and I did years ago, used to live behind the pub and said it was alright. What was even better as it was a lovely, kinda warm evening after weeks of torrential rain, we sat outside in...more
A lovely Victorian-era pub in the heart of Tooting, The King's Head was designed by a once-famous (and now deceased) architect who went by the name of William Mortimer Brutton in the late 1800s. If there is any country on Earth where an architect would be commissioned to design a pub, England would be it. As a result it's a beautiful place, with comfortable seating and good food to boot.
