We recently went in to buy some ribbon to wrap Christmas presents, and came out an hour later having spent £35 and laden with buttons, badges and vintage knitted trimming.

This is a great place to find trimmings and extra bits to customise clothes with. They've got everything in here, it's a real Aladdin's cave and such fun to browse. It's also not horribly expensive although not cheap either. They sell both new and vintage things so you can find something unusual. An excellent independent shop in Soho.more
Kleins is not open on the weekend which is a shame. I saw a board of feathers through the window and thought I'd have to come back during the week since I needed feathers for a fascinator I'm making. Hurrah for Kleins!
This place is a treasure trove of haberdashery goodness. Everything you need for your sewing needs - pins, needles, cotton, ribbon, trimmings, buttons, bag handles, eyelets, etc. They even have pipe cleaners and bra wire!
