The best aspect of Porte des Indes is the atmosphere: it is beautiful. The staff is attentive and the food is very tasty. It's an opportunity to try Pondicheri-style cuisine - don't miss the lacy rice crêpes. The mixed plates are probably the best value. And the mixed drinks are phenomenal!more
The food and service was decent. I really was expecting something a bit more unique, but felt I got standard Indian fare without any excitement. Nice place to go for a special event (i.e., birthday), but wouldn't go there again. Had to ask several times for our drinks.more
The best indian food I have ever had! The inside presents an atmosphere as if you were in a completely different place and time. It has huge Palm trees inside with 2 floors and a mini fountain in the middle almost like a pool. The cutlery was very good and everything was clean and looked really well presented. Ok now that the first looks is over lets talk...more
