An 'Optional Service Charge' is just that- OPTIONAL. To have some ditzy 25-year old French or Polish waitress who's been on the job for what seemed like 2-days, insist 'it's impossible to remove' in that haughty continental voice they put on is seriously annoying after an otherwise pleasant meal.

Overpriced... but yum yum yum! Get the sea bream with crab bisque. Holy crap, there is no better seafood dish in all of London. It is literally a fish submerged in crab juice. Just thinking about it now gets me salivating. It's a bit of a fight for a table here, though... there's no list, you just wait until a seat opens up.more

This place is awesome! Came here on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the communal table by the bar. The place was pretty empty, but apparently all the other tables were reserved...so I recommend making reservations.

The Ladbroke filled up fast and had a bubbling vibe for a Sunday. The food was really good; beet salad, mussels, soup of the day....but the service is sloooooow, to the point...more
