Wow! This theatre is pretty damn amazing!
A friend of the other half told us about a performance going on here. His wife was starring in it. And it was a musical! And less than £20! We decided it would make for a fun (and cheaper night out than a West End show). Following Lizzie's review, I would categorize this as "off-off-West End" as there are very few seats and quite a small stage.
I think this pub probably can be a lot better than I thought it was, because when we were there, there were about 3 other people. Which would be OK in a small pub, but this one is huge!
It has a canoe on the ceiling, and a quiz machine, and the ale was a bit dodgy.more

Don't be put of by the exterior here. As I walked towards the place I initially thought it was closedthen I saw the pool table (I'm not a big fan of a prominent pool table). This pub is not what it seems from the outside. It's situated on a quiet, run-down little road just 5-10 minutes walk from Clapham North tube station. The pub just looks like any old old man's pub in London but you get a completely different feel once you step inside.
