I like this location, very close to the Thames river and right on Monument street near the Tower of London.

There menu is exceptional with some great choices.

You will find they have a good variety of draft beers on tap as well as many bottled favorites. They will allow you to sample a draft if you wish.

Sit or stand at the bar or choose one of the may small two or four top tables...more

Good vibe. Terrible food. I came here to get some bangers and mashed potatoes and got microwaved sausages which tasted very old. Beer selection is ok and the servers are fine. From that perspective, it's probably worth 3.5 stars but the food is so incredibly awful. I can't rate it higher.more

Good food but incredibly slow. Took our waitress an hour and a half for just fish and chips and she forgot our order three times.more

Nice Nicholson pub, reasonably priced for the location, right by the Monument. Good selection of real ales on tap.

Can't say anything about the food...I'm here for the beer!more
