Took the fam. here for a roast, and loved it.

Booked a table, so got to sit at the back, where it's a little less frantic. Great atmosphere: homely and family friendly but full of couples and groups of all ages. Lovely decor too.

Ordered some wine from a helpful waiter and it turned up quickly, roast beef was delicious (the cauli cheese croquettes are genius) and everything is well priced....more

This is one of my favourite haunts - but it it would be true to say that it can be a bit hit and miss! The food and service can either be great... or truly awful! This was a convenient stop for us when we went to Richmond Park. We've had lunch here twice, once on a Sunday, another the following Saturday. The place was busy on Sunday with many coming for Sunday Roast. We had a burger, fish and chips, and one chicken roast. The food was not bad but we waited a very long time for our food. We lived down the street and around the corner so we were regulars. We loved talking with the staff which included folks from New Zealand, Aussies and South Africans.
