A great place to eat at under £10!

A no nonsense fish and chips place with a variety of choices of fish including cod, skate, halibut (duh), haddock, and plaice.

The batter is really thin and light which does not interfere with the distinct taste of each type of fish.

I'm not into fish & chips, but I was determined to eat some while in England. This place's fish was so crisp and lightly breaded and hot and fresh and amazing... It was really really good, just as the reviews said. I'm glad I went here.

And they have a huge menu, including grilled fish, which I'd love to try next time.more

Friday is a very busy day, especially at lunch. On other days it's hard to not be tempted by the other food stalls lining Strutton...more
