This little French place is about 100 feet from my building. I'd walked by it for months before finally going in.
YUM!!!! I had a big bowl of the moules provencal, which were tasty and not in the slightest rubbery. I then went on to have one of their specials of the day, duck in blueberry sauce, while my partner had steak and frites. The duck was succulent, cooked just right.

This is a cracking little French Bistro, not so much chic but more cafe like.
The food is simple, rustic French food, nothing fancy but pretty tasty.
Great value for money, they do a great Sunday roast too.
This is their third location in Islington (they were off Upper street where Mem & Laz is now, and then they were on the corner of Essex road and New North Road).

This is very much a word of mouth local spot as it is just a little place that looks to be run by a French family, but it is amazing. Massive portions, pretty good service, well priced and cute inside.
They opened down the street from our flat and were hard to spot as the building had scafolding on it when it opened, but I think it is down now.
