Across the street from the famous gentlemen's club with which it shares its name, Le Garrick is a convivial and well-established restaurant and bar with a classic menu of French cuisine. Spread over two floors, the ground floor dining room offers a window view of the bustle of Covent Garden outside, while the intimate basement with its candlelit alcoves fosters a more discreet atmosphere. A lively crowd of playgoers and theatre faces soak up the weekly live music.

Don't let the teeny tiny ground floor fool you - the basement is much larger and has alot of tables squished in, giving it a very intimate feel. The service was really great; we had great attention and very prompt, in keeping with our pre-theatre schedule.
The food was really nice and the husband said his mussels were probably some of the best he's ever had.

Quite simply the friendliest welcome I've had in years. Wonderful, romantic setting downstairs, great authentic French fare and lovely, lovely service. We had a great time and stayed more than 4 hours. We recommend the Merlot, the entrecôte and the boeuf bourgignon.
