It's been a few years since I was here but the experience is still with me. We had a group of 8 for my purchase and ordered the full 5 (actually 8) course menu.

The Ledbury is located in Notting Hill. It's a fairly small restaurant with no more than 20 tables. It's an elegant restaurant with a large mirror that makes it look like the restaurant is larger. Chef Brett Graham's cooking is very modern set in a modern setting without the stuffiness that accompanies a restaurant with the following accolades:

Must say I went here last year for my birthday and only got reminded to post a review as it was on the sidebar but what a memory it was. We turned up around 9.30pm and proceeded one of the greatest (long) course of my life. I can see why it was given michelin stars. We ended up leaving past 12.30 at night the courses just kept coming. I have to be honest, I was nervous this restaurant was going to be stuffy and no fun. I am happy to say I was wrong. The staff were friendly and had just the right touch of attentiveness and playfulness. They knew their stuff when we asked about preparation and where the ingredients came from.

Presented whole prior to carving, the GF was a bit aghast, but did not let on. I was ecstatic. A huge honor, considering it was the first of the season and shot by the Chef himself, I was excited to say the least
